I.CON achieves an ESG Score of B: a new step on the path toward sustainable growth
I.CON has achieved an ESG Score of B – “Good Level of Sustainability”in the Synesgy assessment, confirming its concrete commitment to environmental, social, and governance issues.
This recognition attests to the company’s progress in the ESG area, with a particular focus on sustainability, inclusion, respect for human rights, and responsible governance.
The assessment was conducted via the Synesgy platform, using a methodology developed by CRIF Ratings and based on international standards such as GRI, ESRS and SDG.
For I.CON, this is a particularly significant achievement: in just two years, the company has moved from a C Score to a B Score, confirming a path of progressive and measurable growth. A B Score indicates a good level of sustainability, in line with national and international best practices.
This result was also achieved through the initiative launched as part of Aeroporti di Roma’s Elevate program, which set forth specific environmental, social, and governance objectives.
These included at least one energy efficiency initiative, the establishment of a policy on diversity, inclusion, and human rights, the formalization of a sustainability strategy, and the appointment of a dedicated ESG officer.
Although it originated within this program, the value of this initiative extends beyond the scope of the project itself: it represents a cross-cutting commitment to all of I.CON’s customers, partners, employees, and stakeholders.
Achieving an ESG Score of B is not an endpoint, but an important milestone on a path of continuous improvement. The Synesgy assessment also highlights potential areas for future development, including strengthening governance frameworks, adopting additional policies, reporting on sustainability results, and expanding environmental and social initiatives.
